Kokopelli Ride and Moab, Day #1

For the past several years, I have been told stories of the Kokopelli Trail and had a great desire to ride it. The trail starts to the west of Grand Junction, CO and ends at Moab, UT. The riding is mostly cruising tails and roads, but there are certainly some challenging areas. This was the first, official ride of the newly formed Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders, our American Motorcycle Association Group. We had a total of 25 riders, which made for three great days of riding and comraderie. On Day #1, we rode from Fruita, CO to Moab, UT. It was about 140 miles and took about 12 hours.
